Most of the costumes for hire from The Costume Workshop are handmade originals. They are made with great care and attention to detail and where possible using vintage patterns.
Most of the jackets are lined for comfort and a better fit. Skirts have elasticated waistbands to fit various sizes.

We have a variety of costumes for pantomime productions including a wide range of dames dresses and other well known characters including a panto horse, cow and goose.
For educational trips for children or just for dressing up for history lessons we cover the Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Tudors, Victorians and evacuees in the 1940s. We also stock costumes for the adults accompanying the children on school trips.
We have been used by local schools to costume their musical productions including Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz and Annie. We have many more costumes in stock for other musicals, you only have to ask!
We also stock a wide range of Bollywood outfits with saris already pleated and attached to an underskirt for easier use. Our Army and Air Force uniforms are in excellent condition and are great for trips to Duxford Museum or Goodwood Revival Week.
